Gas Log Fires

Gas Log fires provide a modern, contemporary design feature that doubles as a warm cosy heater, without the hassle and mess that comes with an open fire. Gas Log fires are available in either freestanding or inbuilt, and they will complement both new and existing homes. A gas fireplace consists of incombustible “logs” which are positioned above gas vents, and the fire itself burns behind a glass fascia. The heater gives off both radiant and convection heat and provides an efficient, clean and cosy heating solution.

Types of Gas Log Fires:

Inbuilt gas fireplaces save on floor space and provide a variety of installation opportunities. Some options allow the heater to be placed within an existing fireplace to create the illusion of a wood burning fire. They can also be installed internally within timber framing, to give a contemporary and modern finish to suit any home.

Freestanding gas log fires tend to be installed in traditionally designed homes, cottages and country style interiors. They give the similar effect of a freestanding wood fire. Better suited to larger rooms, these freestanding heaters provide great heat output into any room with options for exposed flueing which will provide additional heat into the room.
